What an interior design project with us produces

Interior design is where the decisions get made on paper instead of on site. Our design service covers:

• Concept and mood boards
• Space planning and furniture layouts
• Material and finish selection
• Lighting design
• Photorealistic 3D renders for your approval

Two documents are priced separately, because not every client needs them: detailed working drawings, from AED 12 per sq ft, and a material specification schedule, from AED 3,500. They matter most when another contractor will build the design, since they are what that contractor prices and builds from.

Design packages and fees in Dubai

Our published design fees start at AED 2,500 for a single-room concept with photorealistic 3D, AED 12,000 for an apartment, AED 20,000 for a townhouse and AED 30,000 for a villa. Office design starts at AED 20 per sq ft. The first consultation is free, and prices exclude VAT.

If you then appoint us for the complete fit-out, eligible design fees may be credited toward the project, subject to contract value and agreed terms. Our guide to interior design fees in Dubai explains what changes a fee and how to compare quotes.

Designing for Dubai properties

Apartments and penthouses in towers

In a tower, the building sets limits before the design does: most control working hours and deliveries, restrict what can change, and ask for their own approval before works. It pays to check an apartment design against the building's fit-out guidelines before it is finalised, not after.

Villas in master communities and DDA areas

Villa communities usually have their own alteration guidelines. Where a design will be built in a Dubai Development Authority area, the contractor's fit-out permit application includes stamped drawings; on the mainland, decoration works are licensed by Dubai Municipality under Administrative Resolution No. (85) of 2019. Designing around a view or an existing structure

On the Palm Jumeirah penthouse, the design started from the sea views: a calm, neutral palette so the view leads, Somfy motorized drapery to manage light and privacy without breaking the sightlines, and Italian panelling to tie the living and dining spaces together. The joinery, from the media wall to the dressing room, was made in-house and fitted to the penthouse's existing structural constraints.

Design only, or design and build

Design-only is the right choice if you already have a contractor or want a concept package to tender. In that case, the working drawings and material schedule are what turn the design into something a contractor can price accurately.

Design and build keeps one team accountable from the first sketch to the installed result: the person who specified a finish is responsible for it being installed correctly, and the joinery shown in the renders is manufactured in our own Ajman factory.
